The Shealy Group: Committed to the family farm
We know that farming is more than a business. It’s about family, tradition and a lifestyle that dates back to the early days of America.
We understand the hard work that’s required to make a farm successful, and we have experienced the pain of a difficult season when money was hard to come by. We have people, including company president Dave Shealy, who grew up on farms and understand the financial challenges that farmers face. You don’t have to explain the unique challenges of farming to us; we’ve lived it.
That’s why we can help your family farm in ways that others can’t. We provide more than basic bookkeeping services; we offer suggestions to help you make the right decisions, drawing on more than 30 years of professional accounting experience to help you prosper.
We can help you with things such as:
- Estate planning to help you pass your farm on to your children
- Improving your farm’s cash flow
- Preparing financial information to apply for a loan
- Dealing with increasing land prices
- Refinancing debt
- Financial planning issues
Let us put our combined experience in farming and accounting to work for you. Contact us today to learn more.
David Shealy, president
Dave grew up on a modest farm in northeast Crawford County. While the tractors have changed, farmer work ethics never do. Dave’s role model was his father who raised cattle and hogs in addition to farming approximately 400 acres, while working full time at The Timken Company. In the last 30+ years Dave has enjoyed working with many successful farmers and agriculture professionals in the expansion of their businesses as well as transition of the same.
